ok, I wonder why some people are so carnal. they just watch out for I... I need a break..... I want to do this..... I say we go here...... I want to do it this way..... I,I, I.
When things don't go your way, how do you respond? Do you get mad, and stay away for awhile, leave all your responsibilities. If you are carnal, yes. But if you are right with God, no you just pray about it and go on. So how is it that people don't just pray about it and go on.... get on with your life... there is no need to stay away. Prayer makes the difference. When we get I out of the way, life is better.
until my next ramble,

Fall has finally arrived!
Well fall finally arrived in south Texas!!!!!! I woke up this morning with a cool front blowing in. I love fall weather!! When I lived in Mo, we would rake all the leaves in the yard. Then we would put all the leaves together then we would run and jump in the leaves. That was fun! What can you do in Texas in the fall? There is no leaves changing, so what can you do in the fall. I will have to think of some fun things to do during the fall around here!! Any suggestions?

devotional
This devotional really spoke to my heart, so I wanted to share it on my blog.
How quickly we forget God’s great deliverances in our lives. How easily we take for granted the miracles he performed in our lives. Yet the Bible tells us over and over, “Remember your deliverances.” We’re so like the disciples. They didn’t understand Christ’s miracles when he supernaturally fed thousands with just a few loaves and fishes. Jesus performed this miracle twice, feeding 5000 people one time and 4000 the next. A few days later, the disciples had dropped these events from memory. It happened when Jesus warned them about the leaven of the Pharisees. The disciples thought he said this because they’d forgotten to bring bread for their journey. But Christ answered them, “Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?” (Matthew 16:9-10). According to Mark, Christ was overwhelmed by how quickly his disciples had forgotten. Jesus said, “Perceive ye not yet, neither understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? And having ears, hear ye not? And do ye not remember? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up?” (Mark 8:17-19). What do these passages tell us? It’s clear that none of the disciples stopped to consider what was happening as those miraculous feedings took place. Try to picture these men walking among the crowds carrying their baskets, passing out loaves and fishes that multiplied miraculously before their eyes. You’d think those disciples would have fallen on their knees crying, “How is this possible? It’s simply awesome. It’s totally beyond human explanation. Oh, Jesus, you truly are Lord.” I imagine them urging the people they served, “Here, feast on miracle food, sent from glory. Jesus has provided it.” The disciples saw these miracles with their own eyes yet, somehow, the significance didn’t register with them. They didn’t understand the miracles and likewise, you and I forget God’s miracles in our lives. Yesterday’s deliverances are quickly forgotten amid the crises of today. Throughout both Testaments, we read, “Remember the powerful arm of the Lord, to perform miracles on your behalf. Remember all your past deliverances.” Consider Moses’ exhortation to Israel after the miracle of the Red Sea: “Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place…” (Exodus 13:3).

Rambling again!
Well, I have started babysitting again. Yes, I am doing it while homeschooling the girls. Some days are better than other, but hey, y0u do what you have to do. Now, I have been reading blogs on keeping everything organized and in order. I'm thinking "what is organization". I am trying to keep thing in order and all our homeschooling stuff in one spot. It is hard work but it has to be done. lol
We could not have services tonight. Some of the church people were sick with flu like symptoms, so instead of having sick people come to church ( and they would!) we cancelled for tonight and will have service Sunday. Pastor thought it was better to keep everyone home to get better. I am praying for all of them and hopefully they will be well soon. well until next time.

ramblings
We had rain yesterday. Whoooo!! I am having trouble keeping my mouth shut. I promised myself that I would not get involved in the mess of my hubby's family, but that is hard. They get under my skin so bad. How can I make dh understand that his brother is just a mess. He can not clean up for him or take care of him. Yes he says that he gets tired of it, but does he stop, NO!! Every time he calls, dh is there. I understand that he wants to show him Christ's love, but enough is enough! I believe his brother is just trying to hood wink him. Why help a man that just will turn around a rip you off. I don't understand. I am writing it here, cause no one will see it and I know dh, won't look at it. so i am venting.venting helps
Lord, please help my attitude with dh family, i don't want to be negative all the time, but i just can't live like this all the time. help me keep my mouth shut and be will to do your work. amen.

Getting ready for SChool
It is already the beginning of August! School is just around the Conner. I have so much still to get ready before school starts that I don't know where to begin. We have been busy these last few weeks and time has just slipped away from us. I have done some of my lesson plans, but there is till more to do. It just never ends around here. I have wondered how teachers fill when it is time to prepare for School, now I know. The list continually grows, and grows, and grows. I am in need of a vacation I think before school starts. maybe I'll get one and maybe I won't.
ON another note:
Things have been stressful around here lately, and I am unsure of how to deal with it all. I have learned to just stay quiet and not talk but I would like my opinion to be heard. Needless to say: My opinion is not wanted. I am just so tired of it all and really don't know what to do. If I say any thing, someone gets mad, if I don't I am upset. Who knows how it will all turn out. Only the Lord knows, So I will leave it up to Him!
until next time.

Problems Problems, Problems!
Have you ever had a day that you thought it was going to be great but turns out bad? That is how my day has turned out. My dh recieve something he was very excited about, only to be told today that the person who gave it to him now wants it back. He was so excited and now, he is in a very bad mood, angry and all. I told him not to deal with this guy, but what do I know, I tell him, he (this guy) is not trust worthy. but What do I know! now, I have to put up with a moody , grumpy man! Some times I want to cream. You know I was right, but what does dh say, He was only trying to help me out, he did not know this was going to happen. All I hear about is how he wants this and that, but what do I get when I tell him that I want something: you have to wait. Granted we do compromise alot, but right now I am just so upset that I don't know if the subject is brought up how I will react to it. He has calmed down some, but if I say anything like: please don't do anything with this guy, he rolls his eyes at me. I want to tell him I told you so, it never comes out right when you deal with him, but I have to keep my mouth shut! We always come out in a hole of some kind. I told dh, you paid for the stuff if they want it back, they pay you all if it, I am tired of loosing money to this guy, when will dh wake up and smell the coffee. This guy is just a con. (I have told him that in the past, but we just end up arguing about it.) Why can't men just listen to us wives without trying to prove that they know everything!!!! We do have wisdom to see stuff alot of the time. Enough of letting off steam, so

I started a new blogg today. I thought it would be fun to record our adventures of homeschooling this year. I hope we have fun this year, too much of the time it seems that we are in a hurry to just finish our work and get on with the day. Learning should be fun, and I plan on making it just that fun!

I went to see my grandfather last week. What a nice time we had! My mother, sisters, and kids all jumped into our cars and drove to Lake Charles, La. The adventure of a life time.LOL Walk down memory lane was a time, we had a blast. My girls enjoyed themselves and so did I. Hubby, we missed him, but absence makes the heart grow founder. My the time we got home, we were sooooooo glad to be home, Who knows if i will get to see him again, but I know one thing, heaven is looking better all the time. So, if I don't see grandpa on earth again, I will see him in glory.

Wow!! This has been a busy week again. I have been able to stay home, but all the things that need to be done is crazy! With me babysitting, most of the things that need to be done get put on the back burner until they leave. Then I am too tired to do anything. I have restarted my diet this week, so far so good. We will see how the rest of the week goes. Some times I want life to just slow down. I know that it is not possible, but one can hope. have to go, so until next time

Today we went to a funeral for a great lady who passed away at the age of 88. She was truly a blessing to all that knew her. What wonderful things her family had to say about her. The one thing that i will not forget is that she was a prayer warrior. The things she wrote about Jesus and her desire to serve him no matter what was the greatest testimony of her life. One day I pray that people will remember me for the things that i have done for the kingdom of God. nothing else matters, but the things of Christ will last.

"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." Rev. 3:11
I like this scripture. Christ says hold fast to that which you have so that no one take your crown. We need to hold fast to the word of God, Satan will try to destroy our salvation if he can get a foot hold in the door of our lives. Christ is coming soon! We need to be watching for his coming. Hold fast to the knowledge of Christ, guard your salvation, read and pray. Don't let the cares of this life get a hold of your life, Keep Christ first. COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS!!

The Lord is so good to us. We have been truly blessed today. My husband and I are praying for a house that we have to sell. I don't know why it has not sold yet, but I do know that in His time it will. You know questions arise when what you want to happens does not happen, but there must be a reason, right. The Lord knows what my family needs and he always provides those needs. I am always amazed how he provides for us. I shouldn't be, but that is our human minds at work. IT just goes to show, that when you put Christ first in your life, he does provide for the things you have need of. Lord, thank you for all the blessings you have given to me and my family. My hearts desire is to live my life fully consecrated to your service. As Rom 12:1-2 says, i want to be that living sacrifice totally consecrated to you. I love you Lord Jesus.

This scripture has been in my heart, so I thought I would share it.
Romans 8:38-39 (King James Version)
38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I am persuaded to make it to heaven. No matter who tries to stop me. I plan to take all my loved ones with me.

Today is my husbands and I anniversary. WE have been married for 15 years!! The Lord has really blessed us though all these years. I look back and see that we have a really good marriage. Some people I know to not, and for ours I am blessed. One thing I know, is that we have kept Christ first in our marriage and that has made what we have the best. My husband is my best friend. He is there when I need a shoulder to cry on, he makes me laugh during stressful times. Every day He does something that reminds my just why I love him so much. I love the way he takes time out of his busy day to just spend time with the girls and me. no matter how busy is he, we are his number one. (God first, then us) Honey, I love you! Thanks for the greatest 15 years of my life.

it has been a while since i have posted so here goes nothing. Vacation was really nice. We spent the week with family and had a good time. YOu do know that when your family gets together, you will get into some stressfull things. LIke someone always gets there feelings hurt by someone. I think that happened maybe once a day, but over all all was well. We took a day and went to Siliver Dollar City with some friends. My girls had a blast. My little one, wanted to ride all the rollasters.(so did my oldest) THey would ride a ride 2 to 3 times in a row. Me, I got sick after one time on the ride, and had to just wait for them to get off of it . those rides are not for us older moms and dads, we have to stop and just watch for awhile before we could get back on another one. It turnned out to be a very memorable day.
On Sunday, we went to our old church to visit. May things have changed, but all was well. We came back and my aunt and parents spent the weekend with us here at home. It was a great visit and we all enjoyed ourselves. Now that summer is here, I am watching 2 children from town. They are very well behaved. I do need to get creative and find something for them to do, since we stay inside most of the time.(it is too hot to play outside until after supper time). I have yet to find something for all to do, will see what i can come up with.
That is all for now,
until next time,

We have also watch as much needed rain has fallen on our home. It has been so dry and dusty that when you wake outside you feel the dirt on your skin. yuck!! I have been walking a mile each day. Good for me but I hope that it will help me loose more weight. I don't know if it will or not. Oh, I can't wait for vacation. After tommorw's service we will be able to leave and head out. I will wonder how things are going here, but a vacation is needed by all. Vacation here we come!!!

Yesterday was Mother's day. My girls and husband gave me some books by my favorite authors. I have had a busy weekend. Friday we celebrated by daughter's birthday with family, she had a blast. Sunday, as I already stated, was Mother's day. We had Teen Challenge at church. The service was good.
This week I am starting to get ready for vacation. We will be attending graduation for my niece. I hope that we all have fun. I really need a vacation!!! Before I go, I forgot to tell you that our church presented me with a gift for mother's day. It is a bird house to go with my collection. I was so surprised, they are truly a great Church to pastor.

Today is by oldest daughter's birthday. She has turned 12. I remember when she was born. She was so tiny only weighing 5 lbs. 15 oz. Time has sure flew by these 12 years. Now, she is becoming a young lady. I am proud of her. She loves the Lord. She is living her life the way her heavenly father wants her to. We as her parents are helping her but I am glad that she is yielding to His call upon her life. I don't know what He has in store for her, but I do know that She sings for His glory, and lives her life to please Jesus. I bought her her own cell phone for her gift. It has not come in yet, but ups should bring it today. She will be so surprised, this is what she has wanted since Christmas. I will let you know how she likes it soon
Until then

Lately, I have been doing a lot of thinking about my health. Since our bodies are the temples' of the Lord, we should be taking better care of ourselves. That said, I have decided to try and become more healthy minded. I have been reading about how detoxing the body is good for you. I am going to detox myself and see if I can start to feel better. The Lord put herbs and minerals on the earth for our health. Why not use what He gave us to bring our bodies in to a healthier form. I have found a great Christian based college that specializes in natural health. I am going to start studying and see where the Lord leads. The better understanding I have of natural health, the better I can get myself and family healthy. Let's see what happens!! (this maybe just one of my ramblings that goes nowhere!)

Today is the Lord's day, I love to walk into the house of the LOrd and worship. I will go now and get my family ready for church. The next blogg will be better.
