A Happy Marriage

My husband and I just came home from celebrating our 17th anniversary. It was a wonderful weekend!  We had such a relaxing time together.
During this weekend, I started to look back over the years of our marriage.  We have a wonderful, loving marriage.  Don't get me wrong, we have had our differences.  But for the most part, it is a relationship that is grounded in the Word of God.
A relationship grounded in the Word of God!
That is the secret to a Happy Marriage!
I can say that if we had not made it a point to put Christ first in our relationship, I don't think that we would have survived what life has brought our way.
We lost a child in the first two years of married life.  We  were so excited to be having a baby after two years of marriage, when the unexpected happened.
We went through (as most married couples go through) rough financing times.  Where would that money come from for food, electric, etc....?
Life has a way of bringing things that are rough, but when Christ is in the mix.....every thing works out for the Good!
I love my husband, more now than ever before!
I am so blessed to have a Happy Marriage!
